Southern California Vertical Motion Database
The Southern California Vertical Motion Database is a collection of uplift and subsidence data from marine terraces, fluvial terraces, thermochronologic ages, and stratigraphic surfaces. It was created by Nathan Niemi, MIke Oskin, and Tom Rockwell and originally published in 2008 (Niemi et. al., 2008) and hosted by the Southern California Earthquake Center. My students and I have recently updated the database to include all published data that we were able to find through December 2022. A link to the updated excel file is below. If you are aware of any published data from Southern California that we have missed, please let me know. This data will be hosted on the SCEC website again soon, but is posted here in the meantime.
